Flora and fauna of Indonesia is divided based on an imaginary line called the Wallace line. This line lies between Bali and Lombok, continues northward between Kalimantan and Sulawesi. In the West of the Wallace line, its flora and fauna are of Asian origin, while in the eastern part of the line, assemble the flora and fauna is similar to that in Australia.
